At this time Team PRD's emphasis is on the 4WD Modified class of pullers and on this page information regarding this class
and it's full scale counterpart is included to give insight to those who are not familiar with pulling or this specific class
of pullers.
Full Scale 4wd Pulling

4wd Modified Pull Truck |
The sport pulling in general is based on a modified vehicle hooking to a piece of equipment that is called the
"sled" which carries a determined amount of weight and this weight moves forward as the vehicle progresses down the track
making the load heavier the farther the vehicle travels until it either stops the vehicle or a "full pull" has been achieved.
The full scale track is 300 feet in length and is a dirt surface.
Obviously, the vehicle that pulls the farthest is the winner; however, when more than one vehicle makes a "full pull",
more weight is then added to the sled and a "pulloff" between these vehicles will determine one winner!

The smaller scale counterparts are very similar in design and concept. The vehicles themselves are highly modified vehicles
and they will also hook to a scale sled containing a determined amount of weight that moves forward as the vehicle progresses
down the track.
The surface for these is also of dirt and is a scale 30' in length.
Much like their full scale counterparts, the small scale pullers have a set of rules to go by as well. These rules
limit the modifications that can be made to a vehicle in a particular class.
